Joyce Kamene who aspired for women representative in 2013 and lost to Dr Susan Musyoka has declared her interest in vying for the same seat again.
Speaking in Mlolongo primary school on March 13 during the event which was organized by a non-profit organization called Charity Mashinani founded by Irene Mulu, she said that she is determined to secure the seat come 2017.
The event was aimed at donating sanitary towels Mlolongo primary school children.
Kamene said that in 2013 she was not so mature in politics citing that that is what made her lose to Dr Susan Musyoka.
"I will vie for the same seat I lost in 2013 to my colleague Dr Susan Musyoka. This time, I am determined and ready to secure the seat," said Kamene.
She encouraged people who have not yet registered themselves to ensure they register and also vote wisely come 2017.
