Opposition leader Raila Odinga has called on the youths in every part of the country, to come out in large numbers and 'adopt' a polling station.
This, he explained is where people in a group of fifty, unite and camp at every polling station, to ensure every eligible voter casts their votes.
''I call upon all Kenyans of goodwill yearning for change and supporting our liberation movement to do their part and volunteer at their local polling stations,'' the ODM party leader.
"This time round, I want everybody to come out in large numbers and vote. They should also protect the votes. We want to have a committee in every polling station, of fifty youths. This is called adopting a polling station,'' he said.
''They will use the voter register to confirm those that already vote, and those remaining. They'll then go to their homes, and accompany them to the polling stations to vote. We want everybody to vote,'' he added, Sunday.
according to the former prime minister, this would ensure the Opposition wins, sending incumbent Jubilee administration home, in the August 8 polls.
''Take it upon yourself not just to vote and to ensure all your eligible neighbors vote as well, but also ensure that your do everything possible to ensure the transparent counting and tallying of votes in your polling station. Do not let your voice be silenced through electoral theft again!'' he noted.
