Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga has said that next year’s general election will be a two-horse race .
The ODM leader while addressing supporters at Port Victoria in Budalangi Busia County on Wednesday maintained that the 2017 race is between Jubilee and Cord.
Odinga said that Cord will emerge victorious in next year’s general election.
The Cord leader stated that Coalition was determined to unseat Jubilee government in 2017 accusing it of perpetuating corruption and tribalism.
“We are ready to send these people (Jubilee government) home come 2017,” he said told the supporters who had turned up in large numbers.
The former Prime minister asked supporters to remain united and support the coalition.
Odinga at the same time said that he has nothing personal against Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba who resigned as ODM secretary general.
He said that his enemy is not Ababu but Jubilee government.
“Ababu is one of our own and when you see him give him greetings from ‘Baba’,” Raila told the crowd.
He will end the tour of the region on Friday with rallies in Kakamega County.
