As Kenyans await the August 8, general elections, each presidential candidate will have a platform to tell the electorates what they will do for them, if they win.
Presidential debate, which brings together all the aspirants will be held July 10 and 24, and will be televised live, for all Kenyans to watch. Presidential running mates' debate is scheduled for July 17.
The debate, which will be the second, after that of 2013 general elections, aim to help voters make decision on who they think fits Kenya, as the fifth president.
During the February 2013 debate, two historic presidential debates involving eight candidates were televised. Of the number, one of them was a female candidate, Martha Karua.
According to the Royal Media Services (RMS) Chief Executive Officer, Wachira Waruru, the two sessions would take place from 7.30pm at Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).
"The relevant committee is finalising on rules that will guide the debates,'' Waruru said, Tuesday, adding that they were yet to decide on the exact number of candidates who would participate in the debate.
The debate will be in a question and answer format.
