Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua commonly known as Jaguar has visited neighbouring country Tanzania.
In a message on his Instagram account on Thursday, the legislator and a celebrated musician revealed that he is in Tanzania.
"Good morning from Dar es Salaam," he said.
According to his Instagram posts, Jaguar visited Dar es Salaam, and Dodoma.
Speaking to BBC Swahili, the one-time legislator said that he is in Tanzania to visit his family and friends. He revealed that he has a son in Tanzania, whom he went to see.
The "Kiguegeu" hitmaker further noted that he is in Tanzania legally as a tourist.
"I visited Tanzania and I love it. As you know, there was a statement people misunderstood because I meant those people doing illegal business. I don't hold any grudge against Tanzania, I love it, it's a good country and as you know I have a son here," he said.
His visit comes barely a month after making xenophobic remarks against foreign traders from Tanzania, Uganda and China.
He had vowed to personally kick out foreign traders who have taken over businesses in Gikomba and various parts of his constituency.
