Deputy President William Ruto has hailed President Uhuru Kenyatta as his boss and greatest friend amid confusions over Building Bridges Initiative report.
Ruto has struggled to support Building Bridges Initiative report, which has the backing of President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
In a message on Saturday, Ruto termed Uhuru as his boss and greatest inspiration, an indication that the two are still in good terms despite contrary reports.
"Happy birthday my boss and greatest friend Uhuru Kenyatta. You're a greatest inspiration to me, Jubilee leadership and millions of Kenyans as youngest president we've ever had," he said.
"As we age, am looking forward to what we agreed to do when we retire!! Remember? UBARIKIWE MPAKA USHANGAE!" added the DP.
The two leaders have continued to read from different script in recent days, with Uhuru insisting that he will traverse the country in support of BBI report.
On his part, Ruto has expressed reservations, arguing that the country is not ready for a constitutional amendment, adding that the move is unnecessary.
Ruto's allies have been accusing ODM leader Raila Odinga of bringing confusions within Jubilee party, saying that such attempts will flop.
