Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Boss Shollei has now said that Raila, who doubles as an African Union Special Envoy for infrastructure development, has nothing to brag about despite having been in politics for decades.

In an interview on Citizen TV’s Day Break, Shollei said that Raila failed the people of Kibra during his tenure.

She noted that the constituency lagged behind in development, until Raila left the position before some changes were noticed.

The lawmaker said that the opposition leader has mastered empty rhetoric, and has nothing to offer the people of Kenya anymore.

“Raila was Kibra MP for almost 30 years but it is the poorest place in this country; I have seen the work Kennedy Odede has done and it is more than Raila would have ever done,” she said.

She claimed that Raila is known for being negative about projects initiated by his opponents in power.

"Raila Odinga has always been a vexatious objector of any development project saying there is corruption; that is a fact, “she said.
