Dennis Itumbi has blasted the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
This follows after former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama statement that Deputy President William Ruto is best suited to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Itumbi mocked the two bodies that fight corruption in the country, jokingly asking them when they are planning to start investigating Muthama.
''Enhe @DCI_Kenya and @EACCKenya when are [we] starting investigations against @nduyamuthama ? Just some info he now supports DP @WilliamsRuto .... waiting,'' posed Itumbi.
Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale lauded Muthama after his announcement.
Khalwale noted that National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition members have started deflecting to DP Ruto's camp.
''Pap! The wheel has now turned full cycle. @nduyamuthama it is, and before him was @DavidNdii who was preceded by Dr Boni Khalwale. Three men who were right at the heart of the NASA nerve centre in 2017. Lisemwalo lipo, na ka halipo, linjiani laja!'' said Khalwale.
