After Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in a night time operation in northeastern Syria, reports indicate he was betrayed one of his aide.
Iraqi security officials from the Iraqi intelligence teams said they managed to get important information about how Baghdadi used to travel and hold meetings with his supporters.
According to the officials, one of Baghdadi's top aide, Ismael al-Ethawi , revealed how he used to hold strategic talks with his commanders in moving minibuses packed with vegetables that would not be suspected.
Ismael al-Ethawi revealed the information to Iraq authority after he was arrested by arrested by Turkish, who then handed him to Iraq.
According to Iraqi security officials, the inforamtion they received from the aid helped them in unraveling the riddle that had stayed for years.
“Ethawi gave valuable information which helped the Iraqi multi-security agencies team complete the missing pieces of the puzzle of Baghdadi’s movements and places he used to hide,” one of the Iraqi security officials said as reported by the Standard.

“The thug who tried so hard to intimidate others spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread, terrified of the American forces bearing down upon him,” Mr Trump said.
