Ombeta cited that the late tycoon's sister had to continue with other activities at her home country after completing her stay in Kenya.

Gabrielle had been expected to join close family members of together with the late's wife Sarah Wairimu for the burial ceremony.

Cohen's siblings received the will of the late on Friday in which it is alleged Gabrielle was left with 50 per cent of his estate while the remaining 50 per cent was to be shared between his nephew and niece. The balances in the bank accounts were also directed to Gabrielle.

The estranged wife, now a prime suspect in Cohen's murder, was conspicuously left out of the will with nothing to inherit from her late husband Cohen.

Wairimu has however insisted that she owns half of Cohen's estate valued at over Sh400 million.
