Migori Governor Okoth Obado's murder case will be heard on 2 and 3 December , 2019.
This comes after all parties involved in the case agreed on the dates before High Court judge Jessie Lessit on Tuesday during a pretrial conference.
Obado is a key suspect in the brutal murder of Sharon Otieno.
K24 Digital was told that during these dates, two main witnesses who have been under witness protection will testify.
Obado, his personal assistant Michael Oyamo and a clerk in Migori County Assembly, Mr Casper Obiero, are the three people suspected to have been involved in the murder of Sharon, a 26 years old students at Rongo University.
At the time of her murder, Sharon was seven months pregnant.
Her killers killed her and her unborn child on the night of 3 and 4 September, 2018 at Owade in Rachuonyo Sub-County, Homa Bay County.
The three suspects, who were released from police custody on bail were served with staunch rules during their release.
More than 20 witnesses are set to testify in this case.
Governor Obado has been accused as the main suspect, who colluded with others to murder Sharon because she wanted to expose him.
Various sources indicated that Sharon was Obado's side chic.
