Kabogo said public servants engaging in politics are defying Uhuru's warning and urged him to fire them immediately.

Speaking during an interview on Kameme FM on Monday morning, the flamboyant politician also urged Members of Parliament (MPs) to come up with laws that will revive the shrinking economy and save traders particularly in the informal sector.

"I challenged MPs to go and legislate people friendly laws, reduce taxation, set up a fund for the youth (jeshi). President of Republic of Kenya (POROK) fire public servants involved in politicking," he said.

Reacting to the remarks, former Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando Wa Kabando said Uhuru should also fire non-performing state officials, and suspend th new three percent tax on sales by traders operating small and mid-sized enterprises.

"Economic stimulus package. Blending youth, uwezo, women funds as stipulated. Fire non-performers. Escalate war on graft. Suspend new 3% tax," Kabando said.

A year ago, Uhuru cautioned Cabinet Secretaries against engaging in politics, adding that he won't hesitate to sack them.

"During today's Cabinet meeting I reminded our Cabinet Secretaries that there are many young Kenyans who are willing and ready to work if they felt they are not up to task," he said.

"Those who have chosen to keep politicking instead of serving the people should be ready to give way," the President added.
