On Tuesday, while lauding the arrest of CS Henry Rotich and 27 others, Bosire said DP William Ruto is the great impedance to fight against corruption.

The former Kitutu Masaba MP said Dr Ruto had caused delay in implementation of various government projects due to his 'appetite' for government resources.

"For me, I think the major problem is at Harambee Annex. Let the president be bold enough and take his fight against corruption there. If he manages to do so, this will be a major step towards taming corrupt people," he said.

Bosire added: "We have seen him dismissing graft scandals despite the fact that he's not an investigator. What is his interest? MPs should help the president to deal with him."

Mr Bosire asked Lake Victoria Basin Board to be enjoined in the case that has seen Treasury boss Henry Rotich in trouble, arguing that most of the money was meant for construction of Magwagwa Multi-purpose dam in Nyamira before it was diverted by the DP to Kimwarer and Arror dams.

Further, he said, the arrest of the Sh21 billion scandal suspects vindicates him given that he had called for crack down in the treasury many years before 2017 polls.

"Truth will set everyone free and in the end some of us will be vindicated, as we stood firm through the challenges of Nation building.

"While serving humbly as MP, we fought against corruption, raised our voice loud enough, detained, called all manner of names, but I'm happy as the moment of truth is here and now , feeling vindicated," be had earlier said.

Early this year, Dr Ruto dismissed the lost of funds in Kimwarer and Arror dams construction, arguing that detectives were being used to harass people believed to be his supporters.
