A private meeting between Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga and Malindi Member of Parliament Aisha Jumwa on Tuesday has continued to elicit mixed reactions.
Although the main agenda of the meeting which took place at Jumwa's Parliamentary Service Commission Office remains unclear, political analyst Benard Wakoli has opined that ODM is still desperate for the rebel MP.
Speaking during KTN's Press Review on Wednesday Morning, Wakoli said that Jumwa is an asset which ODM does not wish to lose.
"ODM is still desperate for this lady. I think she is a very big asset. She is a beautiful girl that every suitor is trying to entice," the analyst said in a video shared on YouTube.
"They have done their intelligence on the ground and found that this lady is an iron lady because if it was that she is not a force, ODM would have done away with her long time ago. For the fact that they are still following her trying to be excited about her with the party leader then it means she is strong on the ground," he added.
After meeting Raila, Jumwa later joined Deputy President William Ruto and Jubilee's candidate in the upcoming Kibra by-election McDonald Mariga where she pledged to rally behind Mariga's parliamentary bid.
