Former presidential candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida now wants the launch of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report postponed.
Dida said the exercise scheduled for Tuesday should be postponed to allow the country mourn the deaths of Kenyans who perished in the West Pokot tragedy.

In the meantime, President Uhuru Kenyatta has ordered deployment of military and police choppers to the area to speed up the ongoing rescue and recovery operations.

The operation will continue round the clock until the situation normalizes," read part of a statement from State House on Saturday.
Local politicians have been visiting the area to condole with the families that lost their loved ones and to donate foodstuffs and beddings to them.
Senators; Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet) and Aaron Cheruyoit (Kericho) on Sunday visited the area and asked residents to move to safer grounds as heavy rains continue to pound the region.
