They have come up with a unique way to advertise their official launch of the shop, which will be on Saturday, August 10.

"Wamlambez! Mi Fans, we are excited to announce the Launch of our 1st OFFICIAL MI-STORE in Nairobi CBD. (Giwa House, Moi Avenue, opp the Bazaar) on 10/8/19 from 11 am," wrote Xiaomi Kenya.

A middle-aged man, not aware of where the shop is shouts "wamlambez," then cashiers at the shop respond by shouting "wamnyonyez."

Xiaomi Kenya uses the words to communicate and show their customers the direction to their shop.

Many Kenyans have used these words in many other places to mean different things.

The two phrases are slang words with a hidden meaning.

They came into existence after Nairobi youths, "Sailors" released a hit song dubbed "Wamlambez."

Kenyans have greatly embraced some of the sheng word in their daily communications.

Being used as a phrase to advertise their business has taken the two phrases a step forward.

However, will the owners of the phrases be paid?
