ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale has dispelled rumours that the meeting slated to take place on Saturday at Bukhungu stadium has no BBI agenda.
In a tweet on Monday night, Etale noted that the meeting is not about individuals as rumour has it.
"The Bukhungu rally on Saturday will be purely about the #BBI. It will not be about individuals. When some people heard that COTU SG @AtwoliDza would attend and that he is actively involved in the planning of the mtg, they started spreading unnecessary propaganda," Etale tweeted.
The meeting will be the second after the Kisii BBI forum which was held last week on Thursday and attended by among others, ODM leader and BBI chief exponent Raila Odinga.
Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang'i also attended the forum together with several other governors from Nyanza region and Kirinyaga's Anne Waiguru.
Over 80 MPs from across the country, 1 and dozens of senators were present, in the meeting that was organised by Nyanza leadership.
However, key allies of Deputy President William Ruto have maintained that the forums are a waste of money.
"We all support the report, why the forum? This is dividing Kenyans further," Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi said.
South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro held that the forum was "wastage of resources".
