Reverend Lucy Natasha of the Prophetic Latter Glory Ministries International has denied claims of dating Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi, alias Sonko.
Allegations of the two being in a relationship started some years back when Reverend Natasha visited Sonko in his office, while he was Nairobi Senator.
Speaking to Betty Kyallo during K24’s Up Close segment on Friday night, Reverend Natasha denied ever being in a relationship with the Governor.
“The Governor is very God-fearing and my connection with him is very spiritual. He is somebody I have prayed with several times concerning many things,” said Reverend Natasha.
“And of course I have never dated Governor Mike Sonko. He is a very respectful man. He has his family, so these are just fabrications,” she added.
On claims that she leads a flashy life accompanied by what her critics term as flashy cars, she said that Jesus becomes poor so that we could become rich.
“The blessing of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. I believe that we are not born again to suffer again. And Jesus becomes poor so that we could become rich. People say we use flashy cars, I believe a car is just a means of transport,” she said.
Last week, Reverend Natasha said that she is still single because she is yet to find the right person.
