The duo trended for the better part of the day after the NTV journalist told off Betty over her post painting her ex-husband Dennis Okari as a 'deadbeat'.

In a tell-it-all post on his Facebook page, Mijungu dismissed Betty's post where she had claimed that Okari, the father of her daughter, Ivanna, had neglected her when their young girl was hospitalized.

However, while defending her sister, Mercy Kyallo stood with everything the K24 anchor had said earlier.

According to Mercy, her sister's post had been misinterpreted and that the message in the post had been lost.

"Ken, you cannot force a thank you, maybe that is why the old Swahili saying " Tenda Wema nenda zako". You wrote her a disrespectful message asking her why she had not thanked   Dennis and you in her post, really? Looks like you are still seriously "keeping up"," she stated.

While taking on Dennis Okari, Mercy claimed that much as he helped to settle the hospital bill, he "disappeared" after only four weeks.

Mercy further claimed that Okari had never seen her daughter for many years even as he dared him to talk about the subject on his Facebook platform, respectfully.
