Controversial Kenyan gospel singer Willy Paul on Wednesday threatened to take his war against the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) to their offices after the organisation reportedly paid him Sh4,000.
Speaking during an interview with KTN's Jamal Gadafi, Willy Paul said his family did not go through struggles and hardships only for others to benefit from his money.
The 'Shado Mado' hit maker also barred MCSK from arresting anyone for playing his music until further notice.
Willy Paul is now the second musician to take that route, after Khaligraph also barred MCSK against apprehending individuals who play his songs.
"My mother did not go through labour pain to give birth to someone so that you can use him to enrich yourself. Lets respect each other, I want my money please. And starting today until further notice let me not see anyone being arrested for playing Pozze's songs. I want my money. I will come to your offices and throw tantrums.
(Mamangu hakupitia hio pain akanipush na hio labour yote ati azae mtu mtumie kujitajirisha sawa. Nataka tueshimiane, nataka pesa yangu tafadhali. Na kwanza kuanzia saa hii until further notice nisone ati ooh mtu ameshikwa kwa sababu anacheza ngoma ya pozee zii. I want my money maze. Ntaingia hizo ofisi zenu ntawavuruga msionione hivi)," Willy Paul said.
