Political analyst Ambrose Weda has laughed off Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga's latest warning to forces allied to Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking in Kibra, Nairobi on Sunday, the former Premier also warned the group against opposing the referendum bid he says is set to be proposed by the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) taskforce.
He termed the BBI, an initiative formed by him and President Uhuru Kenyatta, as a tsunami which will sweep away all the Tangatanga politicians opposed to their calls for changes.
But speaking on Wednesday, Weda who doubles up as a lawyer predicted doom for the constitutional amendment bid, noting that it will never pass without Ruto's blessings.
Speaking on KBC English Service's "The Big Conversation" show on Wednesday morning, he warned the two against downplaying the DP, saying that he is able to scuttle their plans.
He also rubbished Raila's tsunami remarks, terming it sheer nonsense and a tired narrative which he has used over the years but whose reality is yet to be seen.
"He (Raila) talks about tsunami, that's nonsense. You cannot make a bridge from Kisumu to Kiambu without passing through Rift Valley," he said.
He likened Raila's tsunami remarks to a phrase he uses when charged, as he was on Sunday, observing that the leader appeared almost possessed when be took the podium.
"When Raila goes to Kibera he is normally very charged, he appears possessed," he added.
Raila was in the constituency to unveil area parliamentary hopefuls eyeing the seat on the ODM party ticket.
