Speaking on Thursday during Jamhuri day celebrations from the Nyamira county assembly grounds, the governor put it clear that if the agreement on passing of the BBI is the one that will lead to national integration and also peace and Harmony then let it be to vote for to pass, but if it will be rejected by voters and other stakeholders and also their peace arises then also it will be good.

"I would like to urge my fellow Kenyans from every angle of this nation to stay calm over the issue of BBI politics because if we will not take time to understand this report and think about it it may at some point bring about the state of misunderstanding among us. So let's follow the direction that we are very sure that if it is made to pass then it will lead to the promotion of peace," said governor Nyagarama.

The governor also added that if the atmosphere of peace and unity will be affected then nobody is going to be safe whether rich or poor.

"If again the atmosphere of Peace will be altered, then nobody will be safe whether one is rich or poor. Peace fosters development and growth of the economy in our great nation of Kenya. Let's continue staying with peace and Harmony that our forefathers fought for," concluded Hon Nyagarama.
