In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Standard, Mwilu confessed that she is living in fear.

She claimed strange cars have been trailing her for some time, adding that she has been receiving endless calls from unknown persons.

The DCJ, aged 58, insisted that she is not leaving office anytime soon until she gets a reason to do so, adding that she will continue delivering her duties without fear or favour.

“I discharge my duties diligently and I have upheld my solemn duty to defend and protect Kenya’s Constitution as one of the top judges in Kenya. Whether they kill me as they’ve been attempting to do, I’ll continue to discharge my duties as a judge without fear or favour,"  she said.

Mwilu  said that she is a religious woman and she will hold onto her faith amid tough times.

The DCJ revealed that she used to drive herself to different places but since her aide was attacked, she decided to let the driver do so on her behalf.

The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji recently revealed his plan to ensure Mwilu goes home.

Noordin argues that Mwilu lacks the qualities to hold public office because of the dark past.
