Mourners from different walks of life arrived at the home of Norah Chelagat Borus, to pay their last respect as questions behind her mysterious death remain unanswered.

The student, 24, had made her family proud after emerging the best in Nairobi county and fourth nationally in the 2013 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) but she never lived to see her dreams come true after she died under unclear circumstances.

Leaders from different political quarters eulogized her as a committed and brilliant girl who had the desire to succeed in life before she died.

She was set to graduate at the end of this month before her demise.

The student had applied for the masters in the last quarter of 2018 before she died. The body of the deceased was discovered at her hostel room at Stanford University on June 14 under mysterious circumstances.

Mother of the deceased, Dinah Borus said the rest of the family will miss her after the tragic incident.

"She loved to sing as well as play the good songs of the bells; she loved to sing ‘Bridge over Troubled waters’ with her piano and her guitar that soothed and touched most people’s lives,” she said, as quoted by the Standard.
