A closed-door meeting held on Wednesday at ODM party leader Raila Odinga at his Capital Hill office where top Gusii leaders attended has been dismissed as a waste of time.
Youthful Jubilee Politician Isaac Motari dismissed the meeting between Raila and leaders from the Gusii community terming it a waste of time.
Motari argued that the leaders who attended the meeting are in fear because they are headed home in 2022.
"Leaders from the Gusii community who attended a meeting at Raila's office are seeking political relevance because they know 2022 they are headed home. They are just confused seeking loopholes on how they will put food on the table after 2022 polls," he said.
Motari said Kisii Governor James Ongwae, Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama will retire while MPs' Richard Onyonka of Kitutu Chache South, Jimmy Angwenyi of Kitutu Chache North, Samuel Arama, Simba Arati, Kisii county MP Janet Ong'era and Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri will as well be kicked out.
He said the leaders met Raila to lie to him ahead of the 2022 polls.
"Gusii region will not support Raila 100% because DP Ruto has taken roots. The Gusii leaders tell Raila the truth. 2022 is DP Ruto's turn to be the president," he stated.
He was speaking at Ikorora village in Bomariba ward on Wednesday.
