Former Jubilee Party vice chairperson David Murathe has attacked Garissa Township MP Aden Duale barely a day after he appeared in an interview on Citizen TV.
Murathe accused Duale of failing to make an impact in Kenyan politics, in order to earn a name for himself by making politically independent decisions.
Murathe further hit out at the National Assembly majority leader, terming him an 'overgrown child with countable beards'.
The ex Jubilee official noted that he can't pay attention to Duale, who he accused of being a sycophant.
"Duale has no name in Kenyan politics. He's an overgrown child with countable beards. We don't give attention to a sycophant who can't make rational decisions," read Murathe's Facebook post.
During his interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Duale rubbished allegations of emerging cracks in the ruling Jubilee party, saying that the political outfit was more united than before.
He also pledged support for Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
"DP Ruto is not the kind of person you abandon. He is a strong politician. I will support him in 2022," said Duale.
Murathe who resigned as Jubilee vice chairman in January has in the past vowed to block DP Ruto from ascending to power in the 2022 polls.
