Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has insisted that he had no hand in the brutal murder of Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) ICT Director Chris Msando.
In a statement issued at Parliamentary Buildings on Monday, Kuria said that he wants allegations linking him to the mysterious murder of the ICT guru to end with immediate effect.
He lamented that Kenyans on social media and other platforms have been tormenting him over the alleged role he played in the murder of the Msando. The lawmaker said that it is unfair to link him to such a heinous act when he had no connection with the same.
The legislator threatened to sue anyone who is going to associate him with the murder of the Msando after he issued the statement.
"I must now say enough is enough. I really want to bring this matter to an end. Any further linkage of my name to the disappearance will be dealt with by the courts," read part of the Statement.
The ICT expert went missing on the night of July 28, 2017. The deceased body was discovered alongside that of one Carol Ngumbu. Police claimed that Ngumbu was the woman the ICT was in company of before their bodies were found at the Karura forest.
The lawmaker said that he was also informed of car resembling the one Msando owned in Roysambu, Nairobi.
He claimed that he contacted Kasarani divisional police commander (OCPD) after the discovery of the vehicle. Kuria said that he received the news of the vehicle while in a function with Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege.
