Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has officially released the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results.

While announcing the results, Magoha noted that 16 subjects had earned significant improvement, while 11 had a decline in performance.

According to Magoha,  English, Kiswahili, Chemistry, Physics and Biology were some of the subjects that had notable improvements.

The CS noted that some of the listed subjects have been performing poorly over the years, but the students pulled up their socks this year.

Females performed better in English, Home science, Sign language and CRE.

“16 subjects significantly improved, 11 declined. English, Swahili, Chemistry, Biology, Physics results improved, with females doing well in English, CRE, Home science, sign language” said CS George Magoha
