Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has responded to the cry for help by Angeline Omina, the mother of Melvies Imbaya, one of the Kakamega twins.
Reports on K24 TV indicate that Sakaja and other well-wishers showed up Saturday with good tidings for Omina who stays in Kawangware.
A shop named 'Mama Twins', thanks to that compassionate visit, has been opened and shopping done for her.
"And Saturday, Angeline Omina welcomed guests of good tidings to her home in Kibarage slums, Kangemi. Guests including Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja who had her plea for help and have opened for her a shop christened Mama Twins Shop, " K24 Television reported. (0:52-1:03)
Angeline Omina was mentally disturbed after her biological daughter Melvies Imbaya refused to stay with her.
Her business collapsed after the results of a DNA test conducted on the three twins came out.
When she spoke to K24 about a week ago, she cut the figure of a depressed woman.
Well-wishers have pledged to ensure that she undergoes psychological counseling and gets the psycho-social support that she needs to cope with her reality.
