He noted that Raila, who doubles as African Special Envoy, left him in the cold after he swore him as the People’s President when other leaders refused to so.

He said that it is unfortunate that a man of Raila’s stature can do such a thing. Miguna, who has been vocal on matters of national interest since his deportation, also said that Raila conspired with President Uhuru Kenyatta to torment when he had been part of his army to State House.

“He had also asked me to swear him-in after everyone including James Orengo, Otiende Amolo and others had refused to swear him in. Instead of standing with me, Raila conspired with Uhuru Kenyatta to have my house destroyed and me detained and brutalized,” he said.

Miguna also said that the Former Prime Minister had abandoned the fight to liberate Kenya from what he termed as an oppressive rule when he went for the handshake. He opined that a handshake will not change anything about Kenya.

“Raila is the one who cowardly left the pursuit of justice and decided to go to bed with those oppressing Kenyans. He has never condemned Uhuru Kenyatta for committing atrocities against the Kenyan people,” he added.
