She says that the country will benefit greatly from the initiative on matters of national peace and stability after elections, which has been rare in previous polls.

Speaking on Wednesday, the strong supporter of the President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga-founded push termed it the avenue to peace and cohesion.

She also appeared to suggest that the initiative seeks to expand the executive to accommodate more individuals but stated that its mission doesn't end at that.

"The BBI is not just about the expansion of the top, it's about making Kenya stay cohesive, so that when we go to elections we don't have the chaos that we have had in the past," she said on KTN's Pointblank on Wednesday night.

The governor further stressed on the need for political inclusion of each and every community in government, terming exclusion the main reason behind political discomfort.

According to Waiguru, the country needs a system that makes it possible for every person from any community to secure leadership in the government.

"You cannot also ignore that there are other communities that also want at some point to feel that even if we not in leadership now, we can get into leadership in the future," added the county boss.

In its current state as was compiled by the BBI task force, the BBI report has no clause recommending the expansion of the executive.
