Eldoret billionaire Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki has called for the disbandment of the Tangatanga and Kieleweke teams.
The businessman cum politician took to his Twitter handle on Sunday where he slammed the two Jubilee factions for engaging in politics instead of focussing on creating jobs for youths.
He further criticized the calls for a referendum, arguing that the push to change the constitution is a scam.
"TangaTanga and Kieleweke MUST come to an UNCEREMONIOUS HALT, it is not PART of the JUBILEE manifesto! Focus on VALUE addition and CREATE jobs for the YOUTH. REFERENDUM is a SCAM. Let us fight CORRUPTION & STOP domestic BORROWING to KICKSTART the economy," tweeted Buzeki.
Buzeki's sentiments come amid reports of wrangles in the Jubilee party which led to the formation of the TangaTanga group which is allied to Deputy President William Ruto and the Kieleweke faction which is opposed to Ruto's presidential bid in 2022.
The two teams have been accused of undermining the unity in the Jubilee Party, with Ruto's allies accusing the Head of State of indirectly fighting the DP's State House bid.
Buzeki is expected to vie for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat in 2022 on a Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) ticket.
