As Building Bridges Initiative taskforce report politics continue to generate heated political debate, Garissa Township MP Aden Duale now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to act.
With two political camps emerging, after the Wednesday launch of BBI report at the Bomas of Kenya, Duale has cautioned the President never to lose focus in his quest to deliver on his pre-election pledges.
"Of course it is so unfortunate that the vision His Excellency the President had and still has for Kenyans risks being lost. The big four agenda to be precise," Duale, who is also the National Assembly majority leader said in a post on his Facebook page.
The lawmaker further asked the President not to lose his focus to deliver on his mandate.
"Tufanye nini sasa? We must not lose focus. The President must keep his eyes on Kenyans. The President must keep his eyes on the vision he had for the people of Kenya as he took office for this term," he added.
Duale, a key member of the Deputy President William Ruto's anti-referendum call, has always insisted that BBI report should be taken to Parliament for implementation.
However, the pro-Uhuru and Raila team maintains that BBI should be people-driven.
