Kenyan gospel singer Jimmy Gait has finally opened up about his whereabouts.
In a video that he shared on YouTube, Jimmy Gait disclosed that he has been ailing, something that has kept him out of social media.
He further said that he is required to travel abroad for further medical treatment. He, however, did not disclose the illness he is suffering from.
“I know for a long time I have not been able to talk to you, I’ve not been on social media for maybe three months, and a lot of people have been wondering kwani Jimmy Gait alienda wapi," he said the video.
He added: "I have not been well, I have been battling a condition and gone to quite a number of hospitals and it has been decided that I have to go out of the country for special treatment and medical attention.
He asked his fans to pray for him as he goes abroad to seek treatment. "If you are my fan, if you believe in me, if I have blessed you in any way through my music, speaking or through anything; its time for me to seek your support. Say a prayer for me, it will go a long way,” he said.
He is set to travel abroad this week. He promised to keep his fans appraised about his progress.
