The operation for arresting the conmen who term themselves as the Kenya power Officials in Nyamira county has been commenced to capture the responsible persons who had been involved in the act of violating the Rights of clients through M-Pesa.
Speaking today at the Nyamusi police post, the OCPD of the station with other stakeholders from the entire Kenya power Offices said that they have started operation on a very good note and they said they will not mention the criteria they are going to apply to arrest the fraud suspects.
"We are to launch an operation of arresting the responsible suspects who have been frauding the clients of Kenya power, this is after the report arrived us through Hivisasa that residents of Magwagwa ward want us to take a stun action on curbing the lawbreakers. I want to promise the citizens that this operation has been started and we will not mention the criteria we will apply to undermine them but so far so good we have all the information that will make our work easy." said the OCPD James Okero.
Moreover, the senior engineers from KPLC urged residents to be careful on the way they pay their KPLC bills and use the respective pay bills to avoid being duped.
"I would like to urge our clients to avoid being frauded against and use the required and provided pay bills and make their payments there." said Engineer Kinyua Nahaman.
They congratulated Hivisasa for reporting the matter and placing it on air as it has helped to curb to the ongoing criminal activity to be noticed hence it is going to bear fruits once the operation has been launched.
