Nyamira Woman Representative Jerusha Momanyi has paid tribute to God following narrow survival at Wilson Airport following a Silverstone plane crash.
The aircraft skidded from the runaway injuring two people in the process in an accident that scared the country for some moment on Friday.
And in an interview on Saturday, Mrs Momanyi said only God who knows His miracles, adding that human beings are quite limited in certain aspects.
"I thank God. It's Him who saved us. We were yet to cruise. What do you think would have happened? Haven't you seen plane crashing at a small height and people dying? This was a narrow escape," she said.
Earlier, her daughter, Deborah Momanyi said the MP is set to leave the hospital on Saturday, adding that she was only injured on one of her hands.
"She is stable and will leave Nairobi Hospital today. She had an injury on one of her arm but she has been stabilised by the doctors," said Ms Momanyi.
She added: "We are thankful that emergency team was deployed in time to save the situation which would have been dire at that time within the airport."
President Uhuru Kenyatta hailed the emergency services team at Wilson Airport for quick response on Friday moments after the crash.
At Nairobi Hospital, Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose and Health Minister Douglas Bosire visited Mrs Momanyi.
