Renowned American rapper Juice Wrld has died after reportedly suffering a seizure at the Chicago Airport, the Independent has reported.
Named Jarad Anthony Higgins at birth, he was catapulted to public fame after the release of his hugely successful 'Lucid Dreams' track which shot to number 2 on the Hot 100 chart according to Forbes Magazine.
What followed next after the release of that song was a steady stream of high-performing tunes that endeared him even more to lovers of the rap genre.
He signed to Interscope Records where he released his debut album titled 'Goodbye & Good Riddance'.
A police statement to Billboard, a top mainstream entertainment site, confirmed the death of the rapper.
Local authorities said that an investigation had begun to establish the full circumcises of his death.
"A 21-year-old male at approximately 2 a.m. this morning at Midway Airport in the private jet section/terminal of the airport suffered a medical emergency and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, " the police statement read.
During a past interview, the rapper said that the motive of his music was to inspire people to rise above their circumstance.
His death comes just days after threw a party to celebrate his birthday upon attaining 21 years.
