House of Hope founder Pastor Godfrey Migwi has warned that a calamity will befall the country if the agreement between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto is broken in 2022.
Migwi observed that the agreement was not a memorandum of understanding but a covenant made between two regions.
The preacher noted that the president should know that the Kikuyu community is not ready to break the covenant at whatever cost.
"No amount of intimidation will change our resolve to support HE Ruto.
"HE Ruto and Mt Kenya agreement was not a memorandum of understanding but a covenant and as a tribe, we cannot break a covenant in the name of the dynasty," he said.
The pastor blamed the president for the political turmoil being experienced in the mount Kenya region.
He observed that after the handshake President Uhuru expected the central region to join him in betraying Ruto but none of that happened.
He noted that due to that the president has been developed hate towards leaders supporting his deputy William Ruto giving a classic example of Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
"He expected that we will join him in betraying DP Ruto without questioning and reasoning but the community at large has refused," he added.
He went ahead to state that the region will not be forced to vote for big families.
"Mt. Kenya are not fools to listen to one family all those years, this time is a no na ijulikane kwao, a fearless watchman who speaks what his fathers can't speak because of fear intimidation and insults but revolution starts like this," he said.
