Stivo Simple Boy has once again done it, joined top trending songs in the country as the week comes to an end

Friday is here again, a clear indication the week is coming to its finals, and for music fans, the 36th week of 2019 has seen a number key hit songs remain at the top of the trending chart on YouTube.

The week has seen a number of videos, non-musical ones, led by Likoni Ferry Channel accident where a car slid from a vessel and plunged into the Indian Ocean on Sunday.

Videos from the accident scene and the rescue operations were among the most-watched on YouTube.

More so, Stivo Simple Boy, who recently joined the limelight with his first hit song 'Vijana tuache mihadarati' once again joined the top-performing list with his new video 'Uhalifu'.  

As per Friday noon, here is the list of trending musical videos

1. Khali Cartel 3

Celebrated rapper Khaligraph Jones alias Papa Jones the OG featured Bey T, Breeder Lw, Silverstone Barz, Reckles and Chiwawa in a truck that runs for more than 10 minutes, nice vibes and rhymes and you name them. The song has been watched over 900,000 times.

2.  Joro

Kenyans with Nigerian songs have a special chemistry, and since it was Wizkid, the song comes at position number two on trending song videos. It has been watched almost 2 million times.

3. Habibi

This is by Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) singer Lava Lava. it is a nice song where the singer praises a woman and since WCB is a celebrated record label in East Africa, in most cases at least one song from them trends on YouTube Kenya.

4. Nyokonyoko

This is a reflection of the current Kenyan music trend where artists are using sheng to pass a number of messages, mostly bedroom matters. The song is by Femi One, Boondocks Gang, Mbithi and DJ Lyta. 

5. Stivo Simple Boy closes the chapter with Uhalifu, and as most Kenyans expected, his message was clear and to the point, stop crime.
