South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro has slammed critics of his Bonchari counterpart John Oyioka.
Osoro while speaking on Sunday during a fund drive for various PAG Churches drawn from the four wards of Bonchari Constituency at Itibo in Bogiakumu Ward regretted why Oyioka's critics have not accepted that he won the elections on August 8 2017.
He said Oyioka should be given humble time to deliver his campaign promises and asked opponents to accept that he won and wait until 2022.
The MP also urged Bonchari electorates to ignore their MP's rivals whom he claimed are idle and traversing the constituency to spread lies.
Osoro said Oyioka may not achieve his development dreams because opponents have not given him the necessary support.
"Those who lost to Oyioka must stop inciting residents to criticize the MP on social media but instead wait until 2022 to try their luck again. Oyioka's tenure must be peaceful for the sake of realizing development in the constituency," he noted.
The first-term MP challenged his colleague to ignore critics and focus on development adding that residents may not buy his excuses in 2022.
Further, the youthful legislator reiterated that MP Oyioka is doing no crime associating himself with Deputy President William Ruto.
