Popular Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones on Wednesday revisited the day he offered to take top Kenyan media personalities including radio presenters for a fully funded 10 day benchmarking in Nigeria.
According to Khaligraph, most of the Kenyan media personalities were playing Nigerian music yet Kenyan songs were not being played in Nigeria.
The 'Yego' hit maker revealed that the post had changed a lot of people's lives in the Kenyan music industry. He termed the change as a revolution of Kenyan music.
"This is the post That Brought About the Revolution of KE music, this post Changed a lot of peoples Lives, The OG shall forever Be respected. PLAY KE MUSIC," Khaligrap wrote on Instagram.
Khaligraph's initial post had attracted a lot of reaction from the netizens contributing the online debate that of dubbed #PlayKenyanMusic.
"I am planning on bringing at least 10 big Kenyan media personalities/Radio presenters to Nigeria for a 10 day trip which I myself shall cater for, I want to see if y'all will be recognized by your Nigerian fans or if you even have fans at all," Khaligraph past Instagram post read.

Khaligraph sentiments come amid complaints from Kenyan musicians over poor payment from the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK).
