In a tweet, Mwangi affirmed that the Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary will in no way intimidate King Kaka while Kenyans are watching. He reiterated that he will fight for Ombima together with other Kenyans who feel aggrieved over different issues within the government. Mwangi asked Kenyans to make the #IstandwithKingKaka trend on Twitter in defence of Ombima

"Governor @AnneWaiguru has threatened to sue @RabbitTheKing because of #WajingaNyinyi poetry piece. We must support Kaka Sungura for speaking truth to power. Let's all tweet #IstandWithKingKaka and tag Waiguru so she knows we shall not let her intimidate Kaka," he tweeted.

Waiguru had said that the artist went too far when he mentioned her in the NYS scandal yet she was not charged over the same in a court of law. She demanded an apology failure to which she will battle with the singer in court over the same.

“You ought to have known that despite extensive investigations and several prosecutions in relation to the loss of funds at NYS, our client has never been charged in a court of law as an accused person in relation to NYS or any other scandal ...,” reads the letter in part.
