85 officials who participated in the August 8 polls are set to be prosecuted over cases related to the general elections.
Of the 85, twenty-four of them are IEBC officials, 59 are non-IEBC officials while two are government officials.
On Friday, Director of Public Prosecution(DPP) Mr Keriako Tobiko said they are prosecuting 70 cases that arose from post-election chaos.
Among the crimes the officials are being charged with include issuance of bribes, being found with extra ballots, and failure to perform official duties, and cases of impersonation.
This comes a day after Dagoretti North MP-elect Simba Arati stormed Anniversary Towers on claims IEBC officials were doctoring forms 34B.
