In the heart of every citizen, is a desire to have a leader whom you can interact with freely without restrictions or barriers.

In most cases, this does not turn out as we wish because the leaders are highly shielded and protected from the public even at public meetings. Deputy President, William Ruto, has stood to be the odd one out.

Considering a good number of his recent meetings, particularly after the commencing of the second term as the deputy president, Ruto has been so interactive. Consider the numbers of events in which he personally attends; churches, launching of projects and public addressing, the DP has been indiscriminately associative to everyone within the borders of this country.

As a matter of fact, DP Ruto seems to like every tribe of this nation. Just by the way he embraces a community's culture, it is practically enough to conclude that this is a patriotic statesman.

There are those of us who would be calling it a vote-hunting tactic, but at least you can prove how lovely it feels for a commoner to interact one on one with a person of such a rank. Well, for me it feels like a great honor!

All of us you agree with me ,today, that if DP Ruto visits the Masai, you will see him in a dressing code pertaining to that particular community. I have seen him in an animal skin myself, sometimes back. It creates a positive impact to see such and therefore it enhances national cohesion.

Even if we take it as a vote-hunting tactic, DP Ruto's openness and interaction is going to reward him in some point in life.
