Former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo has been released from police custody, following accusations of causing disturbance along Nairobi's Ole Dume Road.
He was on Tuesday arraigned before a Nairobi court alongside four others who are part of his six co-accused and charged with threatening to kill one Rashid Hamid.
The court heard that that group threatened to stab and kill Hamid, the director of Richland Properties Limited at Bustani Gardens on August 16, 2019, at 18.45pm.
The politician was charged alongside Hassan Dima, George Otieno, Dick Otieno and Daniel Otieno, with whom they allegedly committed the offence.
The court also heard that they broke into the facility before issuing the threats.
Ndolo pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released on a Sh200,000 cash bail and an option of a Sh300,000 bond with a surety of a similar amount.
His release came a day after the release of Cyrus Nyamboga and Bernard Ochieng who were released on Monday on a Sh30,000 cash bail with an alternative of a Sh50,000 bond.
The case will be mentioned again on September 3, 2019.
