The firebrand Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MP has been accused of firing at a DJ with lethal intent at the B Club.

Felix Orinda, the victim of the shooting, is undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital.

The MP has strongly denied the charges, with his lawyer Cliff Ombeta saying that he fired his weapon because he felt apprehensive about his life.

Babu Owino was arrested on Friday just hours after the shooting incident was reported to the law enforcement authorities.
