In a tweet, Miguna said that the Navy has proven incompetent and not equipped to handle disaster following the incident.

He posted a photo of the Navy in the Ocean and asked whether they were aware of what they were doing at the place.

The controversial lawyer also accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto of failing the Navy and other defence forces through what he termed as poor governance.

“Kenya has no Navy. The image below shows tourists in military uniform, not a genuine Navy or an Emergency Response Team. No one should be surprised because Kenya has been hyjacked by despots whose primary focus is plunder and tyranny. We must liberate Kenya!” he said in a tweet.

His remarks come after South African divers joined the search for the missing bodies in the area.

Head of the rescue team, Col Lawrence Gituma, said they will use cameras to make the search easier and faster.

“The ones we have are good, but we are getting more that are advanced, which will give us a better resolution,” Gituma said s quoted by Daily Nation.
