Bandari FC went down 1-0 against Guinea's Horoya Athletic Club during the return leg of a CAF Confederation cup playoffs tie staged on Sunday at the MISC Kasarani stadium.
Mandela Ocansey scored the lone and vital goal for the visitors on the 65th minute to seal Bandari's fate, in a tight match that saw the dockers struggle at home, as they failed to find the back of the net.
The lose meant Bandari suffered a 5-2 aggregate defeat to Horoya after last weekend's 4-2 lose in Conakry.
Bandari coach Ramadhan Balala decried lack of experience in the continental outing as their main undoing and promised to bounce back next year.
Elsewhere, KPL champions Gor Mahia could not save Kenya blushes as they were also bundled out the Confederation cup playoffs by the DRC's DC Motema Pembe in a 3-2 aggregate defeat.
Wellington Ochieng put Gor in front 10 minutes into play before Vinny Bongonga put things level during the first half's additional time.
Junior Kone then added a second for the hosst on the 66th minute, a goal that proved the final nail on Kogalo's coffin in continental football this year.
Following the defeats, both teams will return to concentrate on their KPL and FKF shield matches.
