US Ambassador to Kenya Kyle McCarter has hailed the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti over his continued effort in the war against graft since he assumed office.
In a tweet, after he hosted McCarter at his office on Monday, Kinoti said that he appreciates the support the US Government has given to Kenya as far as the war to end the vice is concerned.
The two also promised to support each other to ensure Kenya is a better place.
"The Director @DCI_Kenya has this afternoon thanked the U.S envoy to Kenya Amb. Kyle McCarter for the continued support that the U.S Embassy has accorded the Directorate in terms of training, capacity building, kitting and equipping of personnel for efficient & effective...," DCI tweeted.
On his part, Ambassador McCarter lauded the DCI for the sustained efforts in the fight against graft and affirmed that the cordial working relationship would continue.
The envoy later took to his Twitter handle and thanked Kinoti for his hospitable nature.
He pledged to assist Kenya to invest more in training and blocking of thieves from entering the country.
