Anjlee Gadhvi, the late K24 news presenter who died after a bout with cancer, will be cremated at the Kariakor crematorium.
"UPDATE: The Late K24 news anchor Anjlee Gadhvi to be cremated at 2pm today (Saturday, Jan. 11) at the Kariokor Crematorium. A funeral service preceding the cremation to be held at Lohana Mahajan Mandal Temple, which is located opposite Gymkhana on Desai Road, Nairobi, " K24 wrote in its post on Twitter.
The K24 news presenter was pronounced dead on Friday, bringing to an end a brave battle with Cancer.
The world of journalism was plunged into a state of mourning when the news of her passing came through.
She will be remembered for chronicling her journey with the disease in a program called 'The Cancer Lie' in which she tried to encourage those battling with Cancer not to give up.
She presented news alongside Eric Njoka before the disease kicked and begun to take a toll on her.
"The once easiest tasks for me are not so easy. After 5 years of fighting Cancer, the strength and energy I had to pull through field work, be on screen, looking after my family, being a mother a wife a daughter...can prove to be a task..
